Voice Lessons

Joyfully seeking “whole-self singing” with integrity, intention, and personal interpretation!
My teaching focus is helping people achieve their singing goals through student-centered exploration of their physical instrument, allowing them to discover freedom and flexibility in their vocal options. We also work on performance skills including text analysis, character development, and physical expression.
My students regularly participate and place in regional and national competitions, including the Jimmy Awards (winner 2024, Gretchen Shope), the Sutton Foster Awards, Solo & Ensemble, All-State Choir, and NATS, in classical, musical theater, and contemporary music styles. Many also perform in ensemble and lead roles in high-school and local area musical theater productions. The Studio organizes one to two recitals each year as well.
